Wow! A blog, all of my own. Its really great to have one, what is it? This is what Wikipedia says: “A blog is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability of readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs.” I’m reading this definition and I realize that I can do and say almost anything in this little space and I will be inside the definition of a “blog”. And maybe you are going to be able to respond – if you don’t give me too much trouble and you are always polite and nice. So, what will we talking about? Well, for sure, we will be talking about Jesus! After all, I pastor a church that absolutely worships Jesus. And then, we might be mentioning almost anything that connects in some way to the Gospel and I guess that includes just about everything. We might refer to the Bible, or current events, or even just talk about the weather; after all, Jesus got involved with the local weather several times. Check this little space regularly for commentary and news, we will see about the “online diary” aspect of it. See you again soon, and remember this wonderful thought: God is on our side!
